I made flying geese!!!

I had seen Lily's tutorial on how to sew flying geese, she said it was fun and easy....but....these are triangles!! That to me is not fun.
But I love flying geese, and I have always wanted to be able to sew them. So I gave it another try with this new-to-me tutorial.
I cut a lot of squares. Started sewing...
And hey!! These are not bad at all! I think these are going to be just perfect :-) I am so happy, and I have to say, Lily is right when she says, these are a bit addictive. LOL! Who would have thought? Not me, that's for sure!
Thank you so much Lily!
Oh....since my machine doesn't have a 1/4inch foot (well....I haven't bought one), I decided how large I wanted the geese to be when finished. 20cm x 10cm.
Then I cut the white squares 20cm + 5 x seam-allowance = 22,5cm square.
The small squares 10cm + 3,5 x seam-allowance = 11,75 cm square.

I also did a little work on Charles' Christmas-present. I made 5 extra blocks so now the quilt is long enough...
Now I just need to make another 8 blocks to add to the width....

That's my favourite method of doing flying geese too - but I have in fact bought a special ruler, which I have never used - must give that a try one day...
Those last eight blocks for C's quilt will no doubt come together in no time at all, judging by how fast you've made the rest of them! Love the quilt, and can't wait to see what will become of those geese!
